Utilizing our extensive knowledge and experience in the heat treating industry, MPD Welding can build an design a custom furnace to meet your specific needs. Each furnace is uniquely designed to provide excellent heat treating capabilities met to the specifications of the customers.

For several years, MPD Welding has been building furnaces for use in our steel treating operations. These furnaces are put through heavy operations day in and day out as a testament to their quality of build and engineering.

A few of the furnaces that we built are:

"Big Nitro", a nitrogen atmosphere furnace that provides exceptional stress relieving capabilities with no oxidation on the piece being heated. It has a 6' H x 8' W x 12' D chamber, with several finned cooling tubes to help in the cooldown process.

A 12' L x 12' W x 24' D car-bottom batch furnace. The front and bottom of the furnace glide out of the furnace on a motorized track. This batch furnace allows us to heat treat the largest of dies and molds.
